If it was only to be found here I would rate this higher, but it's found all over the park and even saw two other large fields like this but you have to keep your eyes out..

This stop shows Termite mounds (both magnetic and cathedral). The “magnetic mounds” are narrow, facing north south. Cathedral mounds are huge standing over 5 m tall. The area has some information boards explaining the mounds. There is car parking and toilets.

The most interesting thing here is reading the info signs that talk about how the termites and how the mounds are made. You can see bigger and closer magnetic mounds in the road there but it is still a nice spot for the 5 min short walk.

Very disappointing. While there is a boardwalk it is poorly positioned to allow you to see the way the mounds are oriented north south. And you are unable to get very close to them either. We saw some much better examples at the other end of the park.

It exactly like pictures. Even nice info boards.

We have waited a long time to see these amazing wonders of nature. They are surely amazing in size and beauty. There are many termite mounds around this area, however the magnetic ones a truly special. Worth a visit and easy access.
